Thank You Stan Lee - A True Hero

Stan Lee was much more than just a man of his time. He was one that will be renowned for many generations; leaving an impeccable mark on the world. Many would say without a doubt in their mind, that he accomplished much more than anyone, even himself, could have ever imagined. He was a man with outstanding abilities and an artistic imagination that many will never see in their lifetime. His unforgettable influence and message will continue to flourish in future generations. The one thing that the world will never forget, is the way he let us indulge in his fantasies, self-declared as true. His creative spark will never go unnoticed, and his amazing talent will surely live on forever.


Stanley Martin Lieber was a comic book writer, editor and publisher. Starting in the 1940’s he quickly rose to fame and continued on his legacy continuing through the early 2000’s. Born to a family in Manhattan, New York, Stan Lee became very intrigued in the wonderous world that was to be offered in comic books. Once he realized how amazed he was by this, he knew that he would continue to do it for the rest of his years.


Lee first became an assistant in 1939 at the new Timely Comics division, in which he proved to many how grand his visions were. He soon took on many other tasks in the industry including working as a comic book publisher. As time passed his new found skills pushed him closer to his best career move of all, which allowed him to transform Timely Comics into the world-renowned Marvel Comics.


Lee started to do much more than just produce content in which engaged the readers. He was one an artists that could connect his audience to the creators. An attribute that is so powerful, allowing him to shaping the lives of young artists around the world. Aside from him outstanding business accomplishments, he will be remembered for blessing us with landmark characters that will be cherished and remembered always. Spider man, the X-men, Iron man, Thor, The Hulk, Fantastic Four and Black Panther are just a fraction of the beloved characters created from his beautiful imagination. The amount of work that he produced in his life was astounding to the point of disbelief, creating a fantastical universe that allows readers to escape the confines of mundane life.


After years of work in the industry, Lee retired in 1990, but for the love of the game, showed his face with his famous cameo appearances. Naturally, he received his most honored award as an executive producer. Pairing alongside, Lee was inducted into the comic book industry's Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 1994 and also the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1995.
